Anchor Bank is recruiting for talented individuals with a high level of competence in Commercial and Residential Real Estate. This position works directly with the Manager of Real Estate Due Diligence to execute the real estate due diligence functions for the Bank, which includes commercial and residential appraisal review and environmental risk management. Primary responsibilities include reviewing commercial and residential appraisals, performing real estate evaluations, and administering sound environmental due diligence. This position also serves as an advisor to the Business and Personal Bankers on real estate related matters. Additional responsibilities include providing effective support for ordering property inspections, vendor payment processing, and miscellaneous administrative support as needed. The ideal candidate will have a commercial real estate background with a focus on appraisal and/or environmental due diligence. Additionally, some residential appraisal experience is preferred.
Qualified candidates will preferably have a Bachelor’s degree in business or finance with at least three years of progressively responsible commercial and/or residential real estate experience. In addition, prior appraisal review experience and experience and familiarity with environmental reports is preferred. Also, the ideal candidate will have significant industry knowledge of real estate and possess (or be working toward) the Certified General Real Property Appraiser licensure.
